LeanGP Accessories for the Motorcycle Simulator

A lot of people ask us if our motorcycle simulator includes foot gear shifter, rear foot brake, clutch, etc. That’s why we’ve decided to talk about LeanGP accessories in this week’s LeanGPost.

The answer to everyone is that these accessories are not included, but you will have the option to install them, along with some surprise additions we’ll reveal soon.

Our simulators are designed to easily support accessories we launch in the future. As we always say, Plug & Play is key. The downside is that this has caused a small delay in development, but always for your benefit. We want the first users to have the same conditions and options as those who buy the simulator later on. Just imagine how unfair it would be for someone who supported us from the beginning to receive a more limited product than someone who bought it later.

Footrests

Both the right and left footrests are designed for easy installation. The gear shifter can be configured for Racing mode (first gear up, the rest down) or Street mode (first gear down, the rest up).

Don’t forget the rear brake lever, which will also be Plug & Play. And of course, it will have the real feel of a motorcycle rear brake, with progressive feedback, because we know how important brake control is.

The Forgotten Clutch

It’s not that we’ve forgotten about the clutch—and many ask us about it—but most well-known game developers have left the clutch out of their games for various (and unknown) reasons. In fact, MotoGP 18 , there was no clutch at all. Now it's been added, but only for race starts, allowing manual launch control. That’s the extent of its use.

On the other hand, a lesser-known game like GP Bikes includes it and implements it with an extremely realistic feel. Check out our  review—you’ll love it.

More to Come

But this isn’t the end! At LeanGP, we’re working on new accessories never seen before in the world of MotoSimRacing. These will increase immersion to the next level. Don’t worry—you, our  blog readers and social media followers, will be the first to hear about these innovations and releases.

You’ll also be able to choose accessories in a variety of colors to customize your simulator with a unique look.

With these accessories, we hope to satisfy the most demanding players, while also ensuring casual users don’t pay extra for things they don’t need or want.

Note: These LeanGP accessories are not yet available on the website. They are currently in development, and we expect them to be available around December.

If you think we should develop a particular accessory, feature or anything else, we’d love to hear from you. We want LeanGP to be a company created by and for you.
